Citrus County, FL : Two teens die in wreck at the scene on East Stage Coach Trail, west of the intersection with Brittle Road on Wednesday, 15th April, 2020

A single-vehicle crash Wednesday night in southern Citrus County killed a young man, a teenager and severely injured two other youths.

Franklin Delano Cooper, an Inverness 18-year-old, was pronounced dead at the scene on East Stage Coach Trail, west of the intersection with Brittle Road, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.

Leilani Ho'oponoaikaine Anderson, a 17-year-old from Hudson, died at Ocala Regional Medical Center, FHP's report shows.

According to a family member, Anderson moved to and lived in Homosassa, and did not have an opportunity to update the address change on her ID card, which FHP spokesman Sgt. Steve Gaskins said troopers collected from Anderson.

Dylan Skyther Pringle, 17, and 14-year-old Kerrign Savage, both of Inverness, were hospitalized at UF Health Shands Hospital with critical and serious injuries, respectively.
