LAKE STATION, IN : Driver crashes into building, is revived with opiate-neutralizing drug on Sunday, 15th December, 2019
Police used an opiate-neutralizing drug Sunday morning to revive a man who was found unresponsive and not breathing behind the wheel of a vehicle after apparently driving into a commercial building at 925 Central Ave.
The driver, who was not identified, was taken to the hospital and faces a criminal charge of possessing a hypodermic syringe, Lake Station Police Chief Dave Johnson said.
The driver was also issued multiple citations.Police were called to the scene around 10 a.m. in response to the white Chevrolet Blazer crashing into the building and the driver being found slumped over the steering wheel, Johnson said.
