Coosa County, AL : Man killed in a single-vehicle crash in Coosa County on Sunday, December 21, 2014

A man was killed in Coosa County Sunday after his vehicle left U.S. 231, traveled down an embankment, and caught fire. The man was driving a 1999 Ford Expedition on U.S. 231 near Rockford Sunday morning around 7:55 a.m. when he crashed, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. Troopers have not yet identified the man. The Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences is working to find out who he is. No further information was available, ALEA said in a release Sunday.
