GLADES COUNTY, FL : 4-vehicle crash sends 25 to hospitals in Glades on Friday, January 20th 2017

A crash involving a church bus and three other vehicles in Glades County sent more than two dozen people to the hospital late Friday.

The Florida Highway Patrol said that two semi-trucks and a passenger vehicle were also involved in the crash on US-27 near Palmdale.

A total of 25 people were sent to hospitals. Nineteen of those were from the bus, which was transporting children from the Sunrise Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Of the 19 bus occupants, 16 were children.

Six others from the other three vehicles involved were also transported.

Conditions for those involved have not been released.

US-27 is likely to be closed for some time, FHP said.
