OAKLAND, CA : Oakland bus crash leaves AC Transit driver hospitalized on Monday, December 19th 2016

At least one person was injured when an AC Transit bus crashed into another vehicle and a tree Monday night near the Oakland Museum of California, according to a report from KGO-ABC 7. The crash happened around 9:56 p.m. at 10th and Oak streets, said Oakland police Officer Jorge Faucher.

ABC 7 News reported that both vehicles were traveling north on Oak Street when they collided. It was unclear what caused the crash and how the AC Transit bus veered off the roadway and slammed into a tree on the sidewalk.

The bus driver was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries, according to ABC 7. No other injuries were reported.
