Clermont, FL : Elderly woman injured after crashing car into nail salon on Monday morning July 7th 2014

A woman suffered minor injuries after she crashed her car into a Lake County nail salon, police said.

Around 10:15 a.m. Monday, Josephine Farsi, 74, of Clermont, drove her 2001 gray Hyundai through the front of the Beauty Nail and Spa located at 4420 U.S. Highway 27, Suite 3, in Clermont.

No customers were injured, but Farsi was taken to South Lake Hospital with minor injuries, police said.

An employee of the business also suffered minor injuries but refused to be transported to the hospital.

The driver was issued a citation for careless driving. It's unknown when the business will be able to reopen, police said.

The same nail salon was robbed July 1.
