Warrenton, VA : Marshall man killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 66 near Marshall on Sunday evening, March 26, 2017

A 57-year-old Marshall man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Sunday evening.

Mark Solomon Stevens was traveling east on Grove Lane, which parallels Interstate 66 near Marshall, when he lost control of his 1999 Subaru Forester about 6:45 p.m. said state police Sgt. Les Tyler.

The car ran off the right shoulder and struck a bridge barrier, Tyler said.

Stevens, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the only occupant of the car.

Trooper M.J. Mazzacco is investigating the crash.
