BAY COUNTY, MI : 16-year-old critically injured in Bay County crash on Sunday, 31st December 2023

A 16-year-old sustained critical injuries in a rollover crash early on New Year's Day, according to the Bay County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators say the teen was driving a Ford F-250 pickup truck south in the 4900 block of North Shore Road north of Pinconning around 4:45 a.m. when he went off the road surface.

The sheriff's office says the truck barrel rolled several times and the driver was thrown out. The pickup came to a rest on its roof off the road surface.

An ambulance rushed the teen to Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw, where he was listed in critical condition. Police say another 16-year-old boy riding as a passenger did not sustain any injuries from the crash.
