Sandy, UT : Pedestrian struck, killed by vehicle on Tuesday, February 7, 2017

A pedestrian in Sandy has died after being struck by a vehicle.

Sandy Police Sgt. Jason Nielsen says the woman died at the scene Tuesday after she was struck by a northbound car. The woman was not at a crosswalk at the time of the crash.

The woman’s identity has not yet been released.

Police are investigating the crash but do not believe alcohol or drugs were involved.
