Peoria, AZ : Seven people injured in six-vehicle crash in Peoria Tuesday, February 9 2016
Authorities have arrested a Glendale man accused of driving impaired and causing a six-vehicle crash in Peoria that injured seven people.
Peoria police say 32-year-old Brian McCormack is being held in suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs, reckless driving, speeding, aggravated assault with a vehicle.
They didn't immediately know Tuesday if he has a lawyer yet
Police say one of the injured persons is hospitalized in critical condition and two are in serious condition but all seven are expected to recover. Their names haven't been released.
Police say the vehicle McCormack was driving allegedly ran a red light at a high rate of speed Monday afternoon at the intersection of 91st Avenue and Cactus Road and struck other vehicles.
Two of vehicles overturned and landed on their roofs.
