Memphis, MO : Teen, baby injured in crash south of Memphis on Thursday afternoon, April 21, 2016
A teenager and a baby boy were injured in a Thursday afternoon crash south of Memphis.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1999 Ford F250 truck driven by Leonard H. Martin, 58, of Memphis, was southbound on Mo. 15 and attempting a right-hand turn at 4:15 p.m. at the junction with Route M, three miles south of Memphis, when it was struck in the rear by a 1998 Mercury van driven by Caitlynn K. Walter, 18, of Madison. Both vehicles came to rest off the right side of the road.
The patrol said Walter and a passenger, Evvann E. Walter, an infant, sustained minor injuries. Both were transported to Scotland County Hospital in Memphis by Scotland County Ambulance.
The patrol was assisted by the Scotland County Sheriff's Department and the Memphis Police Department.
