Sacramento,CA : A man killed in 3-car crash in California identified by police on may, tuesday 9th 2017
The New Jersey man killed in a three-vehicle crash in California on Tuesday night has been identified by police.
Richard L. Lin, 29, of Manalapan was driving a 2002 Honda Civic east on Highway 46 in Shandon about 9:20 p.m. when he crossed over the center line and was struck broadside by a westbound Civic, the California Highway Patrol said in a statement.
The front of Lin's vehicle was then hit by the front of a westbound 2008 Toyota Prius. Lin died after being thrown from his car.
A 66-year-old woman from Cayucos, Calif. driving the other Civic broke a leg, ankle and ribs, while the 35-year-old Washington state man operating the Prius complained of pain but wasn't badly hurt.
