Phoenix,AZ : Woman died in head-on crash in Phoenix; Man seriously hurt on November, Saturday 18th 2017

Authorities say a woman has died after a head-on car crash in Phoenix.

Phoenix Fire Department officials say the accident occurred around 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the area of 7th Street and Greenway Parkway.

They say a woman in her 60s was taken to a hospital in extremely critical condition while a man in his 60s was in serious condition.

Authorities say the woman died shortly after arriving at the hospital.

Her name still hasn’t been released and the cause of the fatal crash remains unclear.

It’s also not immediately known if the injured man was in the same car as the woman who died.
