A 20-year-old motorcycle rider from Bethlehem was seriously injured Saturday evening in a Carbon County crash, Pennsylvania State Police report.
Michael D. Miller was riding a 2007 Honda CBR600RR east at 6:56 p.m. on Little Gap Road in Lower Towamensing Township when he attempted to pass a 2006 Ford Focus operated by Ruth V. Brill, 74, of the township, who was turning left into her driveway, police said.
The collision damaged the driver's side door and windshield of the car and the front end of the bike, police said. Miller landed in Brill's front yard, police said.
Lehigh Valley Hospital didn't have a record of Miller, but said Brill was stable, although it didn't provide a specific condition.
Miller was to be cited with driving on the wrong side of the road, police said.
