NEW FRANKEN, WI : 2 dead, 1 seriously hurt in head-on crash in Brown County on Monday, 19th August 2024

A car and a pickup truck crashed head-on on Highway 54 near New Franken early Monday morning, killing two people.

The Brown County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the crash at 5:22 a.m. on Highway 54, which is also Algoma Rd., at St. Kilian Rd.

Deputies say a car going east crossed the center line and hit a westbound pickup truck.

The two who died were both in the car. The pickup driver suffered serious injuries. Their names aren’t being made public at this time, which is routine to make sure families are notified first.
