LOUISVILLE, KY : LMPD Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run on National Turnpike on Monday, 8th January 2024

A man was killed in an alleged hit-and-run in Louisville late Monday night.

Louisville Metro police received a call shortly before 11 p.m. about a pedestrian hit in the 8200 block of National Turnpike.

Police said a man was crossing the roadway from west to east when a car traveling north hit him and kept going.

EMS was then called and declared the pedestrian dead.
