KANSAS CITY, MO : Kansas City PD say man died after crashing being ejected from car on Monday, 27h May 2024

A driver died overnight after Kansas City police said he crashed and was ejected from a vehicle.

Police responded to the crash at Gregory Boulevard at Troost around 7 p.m. Monday evening.

According to investigators, the driver of the GMC lost control and hit a tree and a metal light pole. The victim was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and was thrown out of the vehicle.

Detectives believe speed may be a factor in the deadly crash.
