Debary, FL : Deputy's cruiser struck by vehicle on I-4 eastbound in DeBary on Wednesday morning, March 9, 2016

A couple of accidents shut down portions of Interstate 4 overnight.

One of the incidents involved a Volusia County sheriff's deputy's cruiser on I-4 eastbound in DeBary, near DeBary Avenue, around 1 a.m. Wednesday.

A deputy responded to a motorcycle crash, and while at the scene, the cruiser was hit by another car.

The deputy was not injured, but at least one person was taken to the hospital.
