CHESTNUTHILL TWP, PA : Second victim identified in Chestnuthill crash on Wednesday, 19th October 2016

The Monroe County coroner has identified the second person who died in a motorcycle crash in Chestnuthill Township on Wednesday.

Faith Villano, 20, of Pittston Township, Luzerne County, was a passenger on a motorcycle driven by Daniel Weir, 22, of Effort.

The motorcycle was cresting a hill on Toll Road, near Jonas Road, when it hit the rear of a car that had stopped for a school bus, state police said.Weir died at the scene; Villano was taken to the hospital, where she later died, according to the coroner. The driver of the car was not injured. Police said they believe speed played a role in the crash.
