Charlotte, NC :I-485 Inner loop back open after fatal crash on Sunday, July 12th 2015

A single-car accident on the inner loop of I-485 in early Sunday morning has left one man dead.North Carolina Highway Patrol say a driver going northbound just north of South Tryon St. blew a tire, spun around, and hit a guardrail with the front and rear of his car. Officials say the man was thrown from the passenger window of his car.The inner loop of I-485 re-opened around 6:30 Sunday morning after NCDOT repaired the badly damaged guardrail.
