Dallas, TX : Driver injured after crashing into police car on I-35E in southeast Oak Cliff on Friday night, February 3, 2017

A driver was injured after crashing into a Dallas police car on Interstate 35E in southeast Oak Cliff late Friday night.
At the time, about 10 p.m., no officers were in the patrol vehicle, which was blocking a northbound lane of the highway for a stalled vehicle near Camp Wisdom Road, Dallas police spokeswoman Tramese Jones said.
The impact ripped the back bumper of the squad car off and caused major damage to the driver's car.

The driver was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
No other injuries were reported.
