La Marque, TX : 64-year-old Texas City woman killed in car wreck on Highway 146 in La Marque on Monday afternoon, December 14, 2015

A 64-year-old Texas City woman died after the car she was riding in collided with a truck Monday afternoon in La Marque, police said.
Lydia Ramirez, who was one of three passengers in the car, died in the wreck, which occurred at about 12:45 p.m. in the 3500 block of state Highway 146, police said.
A 20-year-old man driving a Dodge Ram truck in the southbound lane veered into the wrong side of the highway, police said. Both drivers attempted to maneuver away from each other, but still collided, police said.
The crash is still being investigated by La Marque police.
