Everett, WA : Lynnwood man injured in wrong-way DUI crash on Saturday, 3rd November 2018

A 37-year-old Lynnwood man was taken to Harborview Medical Center early Saturday after the vehicle he was driving was hit head on by another car driving northbound on the southbound Interstate 5 on-ramp to Everett Mall Way.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the 27-year-old Snohomish woman who was driving the wrong way struck the Lynnwood man’s 2002 Volkswagen Jetta as he was exiting I-5 southbound. A passenger in the Jetta, a 29-year-old Everett man, suffered a minor injury in the crash.

The woman, suspected of DUI, was uninjured, the State Patrol said. She was booked into Snohomish County Jail on a charge of vehicular assault.
