A Lauderdale County man was injured when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a car Monday night, officials
said.
Troopers said Jeremy Goss, 35, Florence, was injured and taken to Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence.
Hospital spokesman Tom Whetstone said this morning that Goss was treated in the facility’s emergency department and
later released.
Reports indicate Goss was riding a 2013 Honda that collided with a 2006 Nissan driven by Adean Hogan, 66, of
Leighton.
The accident happened at 5:50 p.m. on Alabama 157, near the Lauderdale 8 intersection, just north of Florence in the
Cloverdale community.
Emergency personnel at the scene said Hogan was not injured.
The accident remains under investigation by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Quad-Cities State Troopers Post.
