Chickasha,OK : Comanche man dies in wreck near Rush Springs on April, Tuesday 3rd 2018

A collision near Rush Springs resulted in the death of a man from Comanche on Tuesday.

Ernest C. Tullos, 68, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Tullos' pickup southbound on US81, at CR 1520, two miles north of Rush Springs. Another westbound vehicle attempting to turn south struck the pickup, which departed the roadway and rolled at least one time before coming to rest. Tullos was pinned before being freed by the Rush Springs Fire Department, the report said.

The passenger in the pickup and the driver of the second vehicle were not injured.

Rush Springs Police and the Grady County Fire Department also responded to the scene.
