A driver is expected to face multiple charges after police say they got behind the wheel while intoxicated and crashed their car.
Police and firefighters responded to South Academy near Astrozon at 1:20 a.m. Wednesday for a single-vehicle crash.
“When officers arrived on scene, they learned a vehicle had been traveling southbound on South Academy Boulevard when it struck a traffic control signal legend pole in the 2700 block,” a CSPD lieutenant said.
