Springdale, OH : Two persons were injured in a wrong-way crash at Interstate 275 On Saturday, August 20th, 2016
The closure of Interstate I-275 in Springdale due to a wrong-way crash ended around 11 a.m. Saturday.
A crash involving a passenger vehicle and a Rumpke truck forced officials to block I-275 near Interstate 75 for about eight hours.
The drivers of both vehicles were injured and hospitalized. An update on their respective conditions hasn't been provided by authorities. The cause of the crash also hasn't been released.

The crash occurred around 3 a.m. in the area of exits 16 and 43 of I-275 and I-75, respectively, and the roadway remained closed as of 9 a.m. A vehicle traveling in the wrong direction collided with a Rumpke "roll-off" truck
carrying a trash compactor, according to officials.
The drivers of both vehicles were hospitalized. The driver of the vehicle was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center while the Rumpke driver was taken to Mercy Hospital Fairfield.
An update on the drivers' respective conditions wasn't immediately available.
An estimated time for reopening I-275, along with the on and off-ramps to I-75, hasn't been determined.
"Our hearts go out to those who were touched by this morning's accident. We will keep them in our thoughts and prayers," Rumpke spokeswoman Amanda Pratt said in a news release.
