STATEN ISLAND, NY : Car crashes into New Springville bank on Friday, 27th July 2018

Emergency personnel responded Friday after a car crashed into a bank in New Springville.

A call came in at 2:39 p.m. about a vehicle collision with possible injuries at 43 Richmond Hill Rd., according to an FDNY spokeswoman.

The building, a Santander Bank branch, sustained damage to an exterior pillar where the car hit it.

It wasn't immediately known if anyone sustained injuries, the FDNY spokeswoman said.
