HOUSTON, TX : 1 killed in early-morning crash in the northbound/outbound lanes near N. Shepherd on Monday, 4th March 2019

At least one person has died following a two-vehicle crash on I-45/North Freeway in north Houston.

The crash occurred at about 5:15 a.m. Monday in the northbound/outbound lanes near N. Shepherd.

As of 7:10 a.m. the freeway was still shut down with all traffic forced to the frontage road, causing a backup in the mainlanes of about five miles.
