Atlantic Beach ,FL : 42-year-old Atlantic Beach bicyclist dies after collision with car on Wednesday June 10th 2015

A 42-year-old Atlantic Beach woman died Wednesday after she was hit by car while riding a bicycle on Mayport Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Misty Van Pelt was southbound on Mayport about noon when she turned in front of a Buick Century at Edgar Street and was struck, the Highway Patrol said. Van Pelt was transported to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Jessica Todd, 23, of Atlantic Beach was driving the Buick, the FHP said.
