NORTH CHARLESTON, SC : killed three people and hurt four others on May, Saturday, 13th 2017

Police in South Carolina continue to investigate a head-on collision that killed three people and hurt four others.

The wreck happened in North Charleston late Saturday.

The Charleston County Coroner told local media outlets the victims were 51-year-old Phyllis Hughes, 52-year-old Neal Holmes and 50-year-old Elijah Simmons Jr. All of them lived in the North Charleston area.

The coroner says Hughes and Holmes were in one vehicle and Simmons was in the other.

All three died at scene.

Four people in another vehicle were also hurt. A municipal bus was also hit but no one on the bus was hurt.
