A Kingfisher man was injured Thursday morning in a single-vehicle accident about 5 miles south of Loyal.
Stephen Scott Powers, 44, was admitted to Kingfisher Mercy Hospital in stable condition with head and arm injuries, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.
The accident happened at 7:45 a.m.
According to the report, Powers was driving a 2013 Kenworth semi north on a county road when he went off the road while attempting to negotiate a curve. His semi rolled and came to rest on the driver's side.
His condition was listed on the report as "apparently normal," and the cause was listed as "unsafe speed for curve in roadway." Powers was wearing a seat belt.
