LEITERSBURG, MD : One killed, another seriously injured in Ringgold Pike crash on Tuesday, 10th September 2019

One person was killed and another individual was seriously injured in a head-on vehicle crash on Ringgold Pike near Misty Meadow Road Tuesday night, according to a Maryland State Police spokeswoman.

The crash northeast of Leitersburg was reported about 9:18 p.m., the spokeswoman said.

As of 9:45 p.m., Ringgold Pike between Misty Meadow Road and Rinehard Road was closed to allow authorities to work at the scene, the spokeswoman said.
