BERRIEN COUNTY, MI : Crews clean up crash involving vehicle and dump truck on M-51 on Tuesday, 2nd July 2024

We now know the name of the man killed in a crash involving a car and dump truck last night in Niles Township.

Police say 69-year-old Christopher Anthony Salvador of Granger died at the scene.

Police say Salvador was pulling out of a driveway in Niles and didn't yield to the truck.

It happened around 8:30 yesterday evening South 11th Street, south of Ontario Road.
