Serious accident on Cockshutt Road near Hamilton,Ohio

One man was taken to a Hamilton hospital in serious condition following a Wednesday accident on Cockshutt Road.The man, who has not yet been identified, was trapped in a van and had to be pulled out of the vehicle by Brant County firefighters and Brant County paramedics. The van was in collision with a tractor-trailer and the accident occurred just before 2 p.m., a spokesman for Brant County OPP said.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was taken to Brantford General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Cockshutt Road from County Road 18 to Old Greenfield Road will be closed for several hours for further investigation, the OPP says.
