A two-car crash in central Oregon sent three people to the hospital Saturday morning,including a 22-year-old from Boise, troopers say.
Oregon State Police is still investigating the crash, which happened shortly after 9:00 a.m. Saturday on Highway 20 in the Jefferson County area, near milepost 86.
Investigators say preliminary information indicates that a 75-year-old Oregon man was driving west on Highway 20 when he lost control on an icy road and crossed over the center lane. That car crashed head-on with a car traveling east, driven by 22-year-old Keats Conley, of Boise.
The Oregon man, identified as Donald Talbot, and his passenger were both flown to a hospital in Bend with serious injuries. Conley was taken by ground ambulance to the same hospital. Troopers say she has minor injuries.
Investigators say everyone was wearing their seat belts.
Highway 20 was blocked for more than an hour Saturday as first responders worked to free all three people involved from their vehicles.
