Tallahassee, FL : 19-year-old killed in car crash near UCF identified on Friday, September 22nd 2017

A 19-year-old woman walking on Alafaya Trail near University Boulevard was struck and killed by a car Friday night, a Florida Highway Patrol spokeswoman said.

Alexandria Clark was taken to Florida Hospital East, where she was pronounced dead, Sgt. Kim Montes.

A 21-year-old Merritt Island man in a BMW hit Clark just before 10 p.m. on Friday night. The driver was not injured.


Officials from Valencia College confirmed Saturday that Clark had taken two classes there in the spring.

Troopers are still investigating the crash.
