Augusta GA : One dead following Peach Orchard Road crash on Saturday, 1st September 2018

One man has died following a car crash on Peach Orchard Road on Saturday evening.

The victim, identified as Dontavius Myez Teasley, 20, of the 2800 block of Fairmont Street in Augusta, was driving a Kia Soul northbound on Peach Orchard Road. At the intersection of Peach Orchard Road and Morning Drive, a Honda Accord pulled into traffic and collided with Teasley’s vehicle.

Teasley’s car flipped over and he was ejected from the vehicle. First responders transported Teasley to AU Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 6:51 p.m. Teasley will be sent to the GBI lab in Atlanta for an autopsy.
