Dothan, AL : Dothan Fire Department truck involved in crash on Friday, July 24, 2015

Two people were taken by ambulance to a Dothan hospital after being involved in a crash with a Dothan Fire Department pickup truck just before noon on Friday.

A Ford F-150 with Illinois license plates flipped over after colliding with the fire department truck. The wreck happened at the intersection of South Oates Street and Ross Clark Circle.

Two people in the F-150 were loaded into ambulances and taken to a hospital. The extent of their injuries is not known, but are not believed to be life threatening.

The early indication is that the Dothan Fire Department vehicle was traveling south on South Oates Street and the Ford F-150 was turning left from the northbound lane of South Oates onto Ross Clark Circle.

Dothan Police are investigating.
