Manhattan, NY : 67-year-old woman struck and killed by tow truck in Manhattan on Monday, 5th February 2024

An investigation is underway after a 67-year-old woman was struck and killed by a tow truck in Manhattan Monday.

The crash happened around 7 p.m. on East 10th Street and Avenue C.

Police say a tow truck was traveling southbound on Avenue C and was making a left turn, eastbound, onto East 10th Street when it struck a 67-year-old female pedestrian.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
