Blissfield,MI : Adrian woman dies in crash on June, Saturday 17th 2017

An Adrian woman died Saturday as a result of a two-vehicle crash in Blissfield Township.

Joyce Lee Hanna, 72, died after the car she was driving southbound on Blissfield Highway at 6:08 p.m. crossed through the Deerfield Road intersection and collided with a westbound vehicle driven by Douglas Paul Krueger, 51, of Deerfield, according to a report released today, June 19, by the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Department.

According to the report, Hanna, who was wearing a seat belt, failed to stop at the stop sign. She was attended to at the scene by Blissfield Township rescue personnel. Hanna’s passenger, Rudolph James Hanna, 74, of Adrian, was taken by an unspecified medical helicopter service to a hospital that was not identified in the report. Krueger was not injured, the report stated.
