Brainerd, MN : Anoka man injuries in a Head-on crash on Highway 169 in Garrison on Sunday, July 24, 2016
An Anoka man was seriously injured in a head-on collision reported at 3:18 p.m. Sunday on Highway 169 in Garrison.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported a minivan was turning north from McDonald's in Garrison and a Harley Davidson Roadster was southbound on Highway 169, when the Harley swerved to avoid the van, but hit the front bumper.
The driver of the Harley, Aaron D. Towner, 38, had serious injuries and was transported to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale. Towner's passenger, Ashlee L. Ashmead, 17, address unknown, was transported to Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby for non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the minivan, Rebecca J. Lester, 68, Isle, and her passenger, Shelby A. Miller, 23, Fridley, had no apparent injuries.
The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
