An 18-year-old St. Cloud man was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 4 early Saturday.

Francisco Dominguez was a passenger in a 2008 Ford F-150 pickup and died at the scene of the crash near mile marker 35, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The truck was heading east on I-4 shortly after 3 a.m. when the driver, Edgar Ramirez-Chavez, 19, of St. Cloud, apparently lost control of the vehicle and it began to rotate, traveled on to the shoulder and overturned, the FHP

said.

Ramirez-Chavez and another passenger, Leonel Benitez-Cruz, 24, of St. Cloud, were both seriously injured and taken to Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center.

None of the three occupants of the truck was wearing a seat belt, according to the patrol.
