Wooster, OH : Teen flown to hospital after head-on car crash in Wayne County on Friday, December 26, 2014

A teen was taken to the hospital by helicopter after a crash in Wayne County on Friday.

Highway Patrol says a 19-year-old man was driving a Chevrolet Cavalier on Route 83 in Wooster when he crossed the center line, hitting a Dodge Ram head-on.

Troopers say the teen had to be cut from the vehicle and flown to the hospital for major injuries suffered to his legs.

He is listed in stable condition, according to Highway Patrol.

The 48-year-old male driver of the Dodge Ram suffered minor injuries and was not taken to the hospital.

His wife was taken to the hospital for back pain.

Troopers say the teen driver was at fault in the crash.
