Lamar ,CO : Two people killed and two injured after 11-vehicle pile-up along Highway 287 on Wednesday ,June 10th 2015

The Colorado State Patrol says two people are dead after an 11-vehicle pile-up on Highway 287 about five miles south of Lamar.

We don't know the identities of the victims but we do know they were in separate vehicles.

Trooper Nate Reid says several others were transported to the hospital with injuries.

He says a dust storm caused a chain-reaction around 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The highway remains closed. It's unknown for how long.
