Ventura County, CA : Major injuries after motorcycle and car crash on Highway 101 in Thousand Oaks on Sunday night, July 3, 2016

Major injuries were reported Sunday night after a motorcycle and a car traveling southbound on Highway 101 collided, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Emergency responders received a call that a motorcyclist and driver crashed in the center lanes about 11:21 p.m. in Thousand Oaks, officials with the Ventura County Fire Department said.

At least one person involved in the crash was said to have major injuries, officials said.
