ATLANTA, GA : At least 1 person taken into custody after 2 overnight crashes on Saturday, 24th August 2024

Police have at least one person in custody after two overnight crashes in neighboring counties.

Officials say the first crash happened in DeKalb County where Browns Mill Road meets Evens Mill Road.

The second crash happened in Rockdale County on Union Church Road where one person was taken into police custody. It’s not clear if she will face any charges at this time.

Deputies are calling both of these crashes reckless driving-related and say the young people involved were driving dangerously fast.
