Kingston, N.H : Man seriously injured after being hit by car in Kingston on Friday morning, May 13, 2016

An Epping man was seriously injured Friday morning after being struck by a car in Kingston.

Police said Chad Sullivan, 37, was standing in the parking lot of BCR Auto Body when he was hit by a car driven by Leon Abbott, 64, of Chester.

Abbott was traveling along Route 107A before he suddenly drifted off the road and collided with Sullivan, police said.

Sullivan suffered serious injuries. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Abbot was not hurt.

The accident is under investigation.
