CARBON COUNTY, PA : Driver seriously injured in crash was evading State Police traffic stop on Thursday, 6th June 2024

A Lehighton man is hospitalized with serious injuries after fleeing a traffic stop in Carbon County Thursday evening.

State Police attempted to pull over the 20-year-old driver for a vehicle code violation around 6:30pm.

Instead, troopers say the driver did not stop, and continued on SR 248 from Franklin Township for approximately 10 miles into Towamensing Township.
