Billings,MT : High-speed crash injures six in Billings on may, Sunday 28th 2017
A two-car, high-speed crash injured six people Sunday morning and closed traffic on King Avenue West in Billings's west end.
The crash scene was littered with debris for more than a block after a Chevrolet pickup and a Honda Civic appeared to collide, hitting a fence on the north side of King Avenue in front of the South Forty Apartments, 769 Fallow Lane. The crash happened at around 1:30.
Billings Police Sgt. Shane Shelden said that while police are uncertain how the accident happened, they believe both vehicles were headed westbound and that speed was a factor.
Multiple ambulances responded to the scene, but it was not immediately known how many were transported to area hospitals and how severe the injuries were.
